Customer Support Engineer

Do you enjoy helping people out of a bind? And do you have an affinity for software or the construction industry? As a Customer Support Engineer, you’ll help resolve software issues and ensure customer satisfaction. 

What will you do as a Customer Support Engineer at Construsoft?

Together with the Support Team, you’ll be responsible for providing first-line support to our customers in the Benelux. After thorough internal training, you’ll help resolve a wide range of software issues, ensuring our customers remain satisfied and can continue working. You’ll serve as a vital link between the customer and our organization, providing valuable product information and identifying opportunities for process improvement.  

Additionally:  

    • you provide timely and accurate technical support via various channels (phone, email, chat); 

    • you document and track customer issues; you ensure the right solution and follow-up; 

    • you will escalate complex issues to specialized support or engineering teams as needed; 

    • you will maintain a thorough knowledge of our products and services; 

    • you will keep yourself informed of the latest product updates, features, and bug fixes; 

    • you will maintain the frequently asked questions and answers in our knowledge base. 

       

Who are you?

 The ideal candidate for the position of Customer Support Engineer brings the following: 

  • a proven affinity with the construction and/or software industry. Minimum vocational education (MBO) level of work and thinking;
  • 2–4 years of experience in technical or customer support, preferably within the software or construction sector;  
  • excellent verbal and written communication skills in Dutch and preferably also in English; knowledge of French is a plus;  
  • the ability to independently manage multiple tasks simultaneously with attention to detail;  
  • strong attention to detail and accuracy;
  • willingness to collaborate with team members and other departments to create a pleasant and productive work environment.  

What do we offer you?

  • a one-year contract based on 40 hours per week (32 or 36 hours is also negotiable) with the intention of renewal;

  • a competitive salary between €2,600 and €4,000 based on full-time employment, depending on your educational background and experience;
